May 26, 2005 1:21 PM

SIPquest (Booth #38062) introduces SIPquest MCS Wireless Client, an intuitive software application that allows the Nortel Networks Multimedia Communications Server 5200 to seamlessly and easily deliver content on a variety of mobile devices. It provides the user-interface and control mechanism for multimedia services through a blend of menu-driven actions, scroll/thumb wheel selection and click-to-call functionality. End users of the SIPquest MCS Wireless Client benefit from a variety of features such as Call Routing that allows them to set their call-forward routes to their cell, home or hotel phone. Presence and Instant Messaging gives them the ability to text message their contacts when they know they are available. And Missed Call Logs allow users to see who has called and who has left a message.

Service providers benefit from new customers/new revenue opportunities from being able to offer a value-added set of new hosted services, and from being able to differentiate in the market by adding multimedia services to voice and data. They can also build customer loyalty by bundling in new services. Enterprise users gain access to telephony and multimedia applications at the office, at home or at remote business travel sites. This enables increased productivity for geographically dispersed teams and allows for control and enhancement of Instant Messaging within the business.
