AudioCodes announces key VoIP partners

CHICAGO--AudioCodes, an Israeli-based provider of media gateways and media service platforms for voice over packet networks, is collaborating with IBM on IP Multi-media Subsystems development, and partnering with Pactolus on voice solutions as well, the company announced at Supercomm 2005.
AudioCodes’ TrunkPack Media Gateway boards and IPmedia media server boards have achieved interoperability with the IBM BladeCenter architecture, designed to allow service providers to delvier value-added services on an open platform that is IMS compliant. The two companies will be demonstrating applications at Supercomm 2005 that include fixed-mobile convergence, messaging, conferencing and multi-party gaming.
AudioCodes and Pactolus, which provides SIP-based IP voice services, will focus their strategic partnership on developing VoIP solutions for carriers globally, including wireless and broadband carriers. The partners will develop integrated VoIP products that tie together Pactolus’ applications software, on its RapidFLEX Application Server with AudioCodes’ Median Media Gateways and IPmedia Media Servers, which they will jointly market and sell through global OEM partners and systems integrators.
Among the VoIP products planned are SIPware conference calling, prepaid calling card service and voice messaging applications.
