Lucent Technologies (Booth #33098, #40098 and #64056) is introducing new features on its Lucent Stinger DSL Access Concentrator Compact Remote that offers the highest capacity line-powered remote. The Stinger Compact Remote platform now enables high-speed IP DSL services and gigabit Ethernet fiber-to-the-node capabilities for delivering triple-play services. The platform can support a wide range of new high-bandwidth applications, including IPTV, streaming multimedia and interactive gaming--offering a streamlined approach to generating new revenues. This remote unit also provides an easy way to add capacity to a Lucent Stinger DSL host platform.
