CHICAGO--MRV Communications at Supercomm this week announced its OptiSwitch 9000 Series metro Ethernet router, which combines WDM fiber aggregation and IP/MPLS services to support triple play network deployments. The platform offers point-to-point and multipoint-to-multiupoint Ethernet Virtual Circuit, based on the Metro Ethernet Forum E-Line and E-LAN specifications. When combined with the OptiSwitch WDM module, the system can carry multiple intelligent wavelength services and support service level agreements.
